The challenge
Hotels wanted smarter rooms without giving guests a confusing stack of switches, apps, and remotes — the TV was already in every room and familiar to use.
How it was solved
Designed a TV-first control layer with a PHP/JavaScript backend, device gateway integration, room state sync, and preset scenes for welcome, sleep, and checkout modes.
Outcome
Turned the hotel TV into a practical smart-room interface that connected guest experience with backend automation logic.
